MIND TO BODY – Cognitive Dance Development (MB – CDD)
is a new dance learning concept through cognitive kinetic training (body awareness)
It is not about learning a dance, it's about learning to dance.
You have always wanted to dance but thought or still think that you wouldn't ever be able to learn it? Have you already tried to learn some steps in a special type of dance and feel as if you are still there where you started?
See for yourself, take a trial on Saturday, October 21th at 15:30 p.m. (Probebühne 3) in Mousonturm Theatre in Frankfurt am Main, Tanztag Rhein Main, or register on line directly for Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th for the MB Workshop with Katia Dalila: to be held in Darmstädter Landstraße 81, 60598 Frankfurt am Main Contact: , phone: 0157 57497576

The Folkwang Dance Studio (FTS) invites you on 15th May to the premiere of "ROTKAMMERTRAUM" by Fang-Yu Shen in the New Aula of the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.

The work is a choreography based on the classic Chinese novel "The Dream of the Red Chamber" by the poet Cao Xueqin. This generational novel describes the rise and fall of an aristocratic Chinese family.

It leads to the Imperial China 250 years ago and yet is timeless.

This premiere has been motivated by the Beijing Cao Xueqin Society on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the poet this year.

Further performances of "ROTKAMMERTRAUM" will take place on 16th, 22nd and 23rd May starting at 7:30 pm each evening. Please contact us for ticket reservations.

More information on the new dance evening is available here.

We look forward to seeing you!

With warmest regards,
