Belgrade Dance Center and Beat Street dance school would hereby like to cordially invite you to support our dance festival “Catch the Rhythm” that we are organizing for the eleventh time in Belgrade, Serbia. You can see our work on our website www.bicdance.com

Belgrade Dance Center is a member of the umbrella organization CID-UNESCO, so it is our wish to meet and connect with as many as possible our of CID colleagues, which is why we are asking four your support. We strongly believe that we can achieve much through cooperation with our international fellow dancers, and we would like to extend our hospitality to them now, in order to make good foundations for our future endeavors.

For a decade now, we are organizing one of the most visited and prominent dance events on Balkans, and with every year we strive to get better, more interesting and more innovative. As usual, all the styles of modern dances will be given a part on the stage, and that includes hip hop, street dance, show dance, jazz and modern ballet. We are always trying to bring new surprises both to our contestants and guests, so that they can take participation in non-competitive and competitive stages of our festival. It is also important to note that many significant figures in the dance business will make their appearance at our event, musicians, sportsmen, dance experts etc.

It is very important to note that we offer incentives for the development of modern dances ( for the best choreography on the festival) and modern dance schools.

This year, Catch the Rhythm will be held on June 6th, 2015 at Sports hall New Belgrade. As in previous years, we have a full support of the US Embassy in Belgrade, along with the Belgrade Dance Alliance and Association of Modern Dancers and Choreographers. It should be noted that a significant number of media representatives and institution also extended their support to our festival.

Catch the Rhythm is, first and foremost, an event based on artistic expression and fundraising, so each year we collect the money from the sold tickets and give it away to those who need it most, usually to the kids in the orphanages and shelters.

It is our goal, as well as the goal of all our supporters, that through the presentation of modern dance in public life we inspire individuals and communities throughout Serbia to become more active in community service sector.

So we invite you to support us in our endeavors with CATCH THE RHYTHM FESTIVAL, where together, we can shift and expand the boundaries of dance.

Kind regards,
Belgrade Dance Center
