XXII. INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN FOLK DANCE FESTIVAL ”THE FLOWERS“ (MACEDONIA, FYROM) [CID-22189]

                                                                                

Skopje, last week of November (23^rd till 27^th) 

 

 ADMISSION

1. All applications should reach us before October 10, 2017 – the application form should be filled and signed by the group officials, and should include few good quality photos of the group, short history of the ensemble and video links of performances (if there are any).
2. After all the applications are received, the Organization Committee will send official invitations to the ensembles, approved for participation in the festival.

 PARTICIPATION

1. 24 performers(dancers) and 6 adults (choreographers, assistants, drivers), including the musicians, will be hosted by FLOWERS

IV – REGISTRATION FEE & PAYMENT
1.    The amount of the registration fee for your participation in the festival is      120 EUR per participant. This price includes both the festival fee and the payments for the hotel.
2.    You are supposed to send the Application, along with 10% advance payment until October 10.

3.    All payments should be made on the following account:

4.    The rest of the amount should be paid upon the arrival at the hotel (23rd November), in cash only.
5.    Cancelling the participation in the festival after October 10 will be followed by a loss of the advanced payment.

IV – GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Dancer’s age must not be over 15 years.
2. Groups should organize their travelling to Skopje and back. All costs considering the travel are the group’s responsibility.
3. Groups arrive in Skopje in the afternoon, on November 23, and depart from Skopje after breakfast, on November 27.
4. The organizers will not be held responsible for any damage, which might occur to the participants or to their belongings. In case of an accident or need for an emergent medical treatment, FLOWERS will be helpful, but all medical and other expenses will be paid by the participant.
5. Groups should bring their flags and boards with names or their emblems.
6. It is allowed to play music from a CD. If the group uses CD music, it should be with good quality.
7. There will be 2 performances, 10-15 minutes long, in one block or in two parts. Also, there will be a parade walking.
8. There will be excursions organized in and around Skopje, together with hosting children (visit of the Old Bazaar, sightseeing at the centre of town, shopping malls etc). Detailed program will follow later on.
9. Groups are allowed to use their buses for certain activities, but the total mileage should not exceed 100 km, except in cases when the groups have their own wishes to go to places which are not included in the festival’s organization.
10. Organizers of the festival are the Folk ensemble “Cvetan Dimov” from Skopje, supported by the local and governmental authorities of Skopje and Macedonia. The artistic director of the festival is Mr. Branko Jovevski.

V – OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTICIPANTS

1. Each group must consist of dancers, musicians, group managers and administration.
2. Each group should prepare a program with duration from 15 to 20 minutes.
3. Each group should bring with them a flag of the country they represent.
4. Each group should bring at least 12 to 15 small gifts to exchange with the other participating groups.
