 XBa CID PR

South Surrey’s own XBa DanceCo, established on the peninsula in 1999, has been offering outstanding dance education to its student body for fifteen years.

Recognized by UNESCO’s International Dance Council (Conseil International de la Danse) in 2012, XBa DanceCo became an internationally accredited school of dance arts.

Starting with the new 2014 season, director Nela H is proud to announce the school’s new program of International Certification of Dance Studies.

“We are renown for offering the highest quality of dance education while allowing for a creative environment where our students are encouraged to explore the art of dance without limitations.” says Nela.

With the formal CID International Certification of Dance Studies, Nela is pleased to be able to offer her student body the ultimate reward for their years of study at the school: an international recognition of their hard work and excellence in dance education.

Acclaimed for its spectacular year-end performances, XBa acquired a word-of-mouth reputation of being the “edgy” dance studio in the community. The prestigious school offers dance classes in Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, Ballet, Street and Breakdance, along with its own original, trademarked style of movement.

The majority of the school’s highly sought-after faculty has been working with director Nela H for years, and the school prides itself on offering dance education of the highest caliber.

XBa DanceCo is located on the corner of 152nd Street and 20th Avenue in South Surrey. Information on the certification program may be obtained by contacting the school directly at 604-220-9679 or via email at info@xba.ca

            Can-Am DanceSport Gala

The success of the CanAm DanceSport Gala has established this Championship event as one of the premier competitions in North America. By all indications, from all the comments that were received during and after the event, our new venue, with its Toronto Harbourfront location, proved to be the right choice for the return of the CAN-AM. The 2014 event once again takes place in the 24,000 square foot Metropolitan Grand Ballroom of the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel.

This landmark waterfront hotel rises above Lake Ontario and is conveniently located near the Air Canada Centre, CN Tower, Theatre District and many other Toronto attactions. As an added bonus for CAN-AM travelers, it is literally only blocks away from the crossing to the Toronto Island Airport that services Porter Airlines as well as Air Canada. Porter Airlines flies to selected US & Canadian cities and is known for offering “Business Class” amenities to all their passengers. The Toronto Island Airport also makes travel a more positive experience, as it requires less than half the “checking in” time than most Airports do.

The organizers of the CAN-AM, through a well-planned schedule, a distinguished panel of judges, high level competition, and great attention to detail, will once again bring you a World-Class event that is exciting, rewarding and thoroughly enjoyable for all participants, Amateurs, Professionals as well as spectators.

As a DanceSport event, along with experiencing the excitement of competition and memorable dance performances, CAN-AM is also about experiencing all the fun, elegance and class that ballroom dancing has to offer.

We invite you to Toronto. We invite you to be part of the experience.
